Updated September 2014
Did you know, most of folks involved in our raid have lost their jobs, including KDFW Commissioner Dr. Jonathan Gassett.
However, Fish & Wildlife officer John Jackson still remains as the
KDFW officer over our county.

Several of our antique dealers never recovered their items after the law was defined.
However, one bit of good news.  Our antique dealer who owned a majority of the taxidermy art works did recover his property.  In fact KDFW already had a spot picked out where they were to be displayed.  (I told y'all they didn't destroy them!!!)
I would still love to find some Franklin & Bash like Lawyers to help me recover the damages caused to our business because of KDFW.  Know any??

Believe it or not, Kentucky Fish and Wildlife agents didn't stop with us.  KY Fish and Wildlife have served warrants to all my antique dealers who owned the taxidermy pieces in our mall.
I am disappointed and disgusted by their actions.  It wasn't enough that they were allowed to twist and break an old law
to fit their agenda and procecute us, but now my antique dealers?
My antique dealers start going to trial October 25th.  Please contact the officials below and "express" your opinion.  Thank you

DEAR CUSTOMERS & FRIENDS
We wanted to let you know the outcome of our recent trial held on August 21, 2012.
The Kentucky Fish and Wildlife DROPPED all charges against
Linda Bright but unfortunately the charges against Riley Bright
were deferred for 24 months.
What this means, if Riley does not have any "run-in's" with KY Fish and Wildlife in the next
24 months, all charges against him will be dropped.
WE HAVE YOU TO THANK FOR THAT!
We still have a long battle ahead of us.
Kentucky citizens still have to live in FEAR of KY Fish and Wildlife officers
RAIDING their business or home if they suspect you are trying to sell YOUR taxidermied
animal mount. (this includes deer antlers, turkey feathers, etc.)
Remember, THIS IS YOUR PROPERTY!
YOU paid for your hunting license
YOU paid to have your animal processed
YOU paid the taxidermist to manufacture the mount
After you have BOUGHT and PAID for your harvested animal, you should be able to sell your
taxidermied animal mount if YOU CHOOSE TO DO SO.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO CHANGE AND CLARIFY KY LAW 150.180
JOIN US BY SIGNING THE PETITION!
AVAILABLE AT BRIGHT'S ANTIQUE WORLD
EMAIL AND TELL THE FOLLOWING POLITICIANS & KY FISH AND WILDLIFE
OFFICIERS THAT WE ARE GOING TO CHANGE THIS LAW.
Tell them they have no right to violate our right to sell our own property.
With your help you can ensure no other KY citizen's rights will be
violated as ours have been. Thank you, Riley and Linda Bright
